Went for a day trip from Waco to swim and play with the otters, feed a baby kangaroo, and tour the property to see all the animals. To say it was amazing is an understatement. Kaylee helped us with the otters and kangaroo feeding and she was so friendly and knowledgeable and took many great pictures and videos to capture our experience. The otters all had such fun personalities and were so playful! Smiled and laughed the whole time! Boomerang the kangaroo was so soft and cuddly! The tour of the property was relaxing and beautiful and we got up close to a variety of wildlife. Our guide was very attentive and provided a memorable way to finish our day at the ranch. A very unique and fun experience and would highly recommend!!

Blue Hills Ranch is fantastic! The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The accommodations are top notch. The safari and animal experiences are really fun. Well worth visiting with family and friends. The location is not far from Waco, TX. We loved it.

Such a fun time with the animals on site! We only stayed one night but had a blast! We fed the animals and toured the ranch. The cabin was very nice and clean. Weather was great too. Perfect combination!

This was a great experience. The giraffe cabin was comfy and cozy. Loved the animals coming by the room. I will know next time to buy a bucket of food from the front. Some of my new friends were not happy with me! The safari was amazing and very informative. Loved feeding the animals and learning all about them.

We had a wonderful time! Booked a day trip down from Denton to play with the otters experience followed by the safari tour. The owner and staff were all great. It’s well run while being low key. I would highly recommend. It isn’t cheap, but after the experience, I left feeling good that the funds were going to support a great small business who clearly cares for their animals.

Blue Hills Ranch has been on my list ever since I found out you could play with otters. They are my spirit animal! So, we booked over New Years for our Anniversary Trip! It was WELL worth it! We had the time of our lives! We did it all, feeding the giraffes, the safari tour, feeding the baby kangaroo, swimming with otters, AND playtime with otters! My life is now complete! Everyone was so knowledgeable and friendly. You could easily tell how much they cared for the animals. All the animals were fantastic, but Cartman and Butters are probably my favorites! It was a great experience and I can't wait to go back!

Does it get any better than this? What an absolute joy to spend time with ALL the animals the Ranch has to offer. The humans too are incredibly friendly and helpful with whatever you need. We stayed two nights in the Zebra cabin and it is spacious, clean and very comfortable. The view is amazing and you can even get animal visitors at all times! Zebras came up as well as Lisa the Emu. We did Otter encounter, the Safari adventure and got some up close time with both giraffes. An absolutely incredible place for anyone of all ages and can't wait to returns. Many thanks to The Blue Hills Ranch.

This has been an AMAZING experience! We stayed in one of their pirate cabins which was such a fun experience for the whole family. We spent so much time sitting on the back porch watching all the different deer and emus. The staff have been amazing, and you can tell they truly love and take care of all of their animals. From the safari to swimming with the otters, this has been a trip none of us will forget!
